This is the first Sword design we created for our children a few years ago. The goal was to create a beautiful gift but one that will last for years. The hilt is cross jointed and glued across the blade to protect little hands and due to the grain orientation wont snap off at the first solid hit it takes.  If cared for properly (like its metal counterpart) it will last for years...  Enquire for wood species and color preference...
